Attorney Christopher A. Wright focuses his practice on the firm’s real estate, title, and closing operations, while also practicing in a number of other specialized areas of law. Prior to joining Crockett & Wright, P.C., Chris practiced at a large Augusta-based firm for several years. Chris’s past practice focused on real estate closings, business transactions, complex probate concerns, and general litigation. Noteworthy recent achievements include prevailing in a case argued before the Maine Supreme Court, being published in a major online business magazine, and resolving numerous complex real estate and probate matters.
A native of Bangor, Chris graduated from Dartmouth College (B.A.- Economics) and Rutgers School of Law (J.D.). He worked for over twelve years as a derivatives trader in New York City with memberships on several financial exchanges. After returning home to Maine, Chris has drawn on his financial background and legal training to provide a unique perspective to his legal clients.
Chris currently serves as the President-elect of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce and formerly served as the Vice-President of the Kennebec County Bar Association. Chris lives in Bethel with his wife, Sonja, and their two children. In his free time, Chris enjoys anything that gets him outside with his family and assisting with community activities.
